History

Elina, our Management Suite for Hospitality is a sales and marketing PMS that not only includes your standard property management functionalities, but integrates 21st century sales and marketing functionalites within one easy-to-use web based information system.

The idea behind Elina was born out of years of working within the Hospitality Industry with systems that need large investments and constant updates; struggle from broken service promises from vendors; and offer less than optimal user-interfaces. As the speed of change has increased, systems that are built before the internet age, often are not built to support the common sales and marketing techniques nor electronic channels that exist today.

Elina integrates all its funcationalities and features within one unified system and is geared at sales and marketing, maximising your revenue potential. Elina is primarily offered as a service application, avoiding the high costs, administration and hassle. So, instead of having to hire IT managers and other costly consultants to maintain and support your IT tool, Elina allows you to focus on your business and the rest is taken care of.

Why the name Elina?

Elina is a female name meaning "Light," or "the Bright One". It is derived from "helios" which means "Sun" in Greek.

In business, "feminine" values are often associated with relationship building, negotiation, and flexibility. In the hospitality and service industries "femine" values have always played a large role. With the rise of the internet and the prevalence of customer reviews the industry now has to accept that their customers play an increasingly large role in brand and service level perceptions.
